Travelling around the world is fun, but travelling locally can be just as mesmerising, especially if you live in South Africa. Although the prospect of travelling outside of our home is extremely daunting for some, Travelstart has shared their insider tips to make the process a little more bearable for us inexperienced folk.

When to seriously avoid buying international airline tickets?
When booking an international airline ticket on a Sunday, one could end up paying up to 10% more! As with domestic flights, international airline tickets will be a lot more expensive during the destination’s peak season, especially if it is during a special event or celebration, such as the Lunar New Year in Asia. An expert tip is to fly on the day of the celebration!
